Having successfully producing submarines in the hundreds Nicola returned to her sketchbooks to develop a new range of ceramic forms that would compliment her submarines. This time she sort inspiration at Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry, of particular interest was the aero-space hall with its collection of old aeroplanes and helicopters. The images you see on this site are the result of that visit. If thrown hard enough these planes really do fly! The landing however is a little rough.
